Fatal Trash Truck Accident in Southern Maryland

Hughesville, MD – A fatal crash involving multiple vehicles closed Prince Frederick Road in Hughesville on Saturday morning.

Emergency crews, including firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement, responded to the scene near Brandywine Road around 10:05 AM. Upon arrival, they found three vehicles involved in the collision.

Tragically, one individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. Several others sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals by ground and air ambulances.
The road remains closed as authorities conduct an investigation into the cause of the crash. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes and expect significant delays in the area.
